Steven Swancoat 

Ob/Gyn   /  Artist   / Philanthropist​​

 

  Born in Santa Monica, California November 30, 1985, Swancoat lived in southern California until moving to outside Detroit Michigan in 1994. Spending his entire adolescence in Grosse Pointe Michigan, he attended Michigan State University as a pre-med student, graduating in 2007. 

In 2008, he moved to Kansas City to pursue medical school.  July 6, 2010 Swancoat moved to New York City to pursue his third year clinical rotations.  Steven fell in love with Ob/Gyn and in 2012 matched his first choice for residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center located in Brooklyn.

Swancoat currently is working full time as an Ob/Gyn resident while continuing to paint and show his art work on a regular basis throughout New York.  He is using his art work to raise money for Ovarian Cancer research and to better Women's Health

  Started and operated a window washing company.Worked with 3 employees in Grosse Pointe and

  East Lansing Michigan. Serviced residential homes and businesses.

  Assistant in Admissions Office for incoming freshman, assembled MSU “College Night” information packages

  for schools worldwide, worked summer parent orientation listening to needs and requests for incoming

  freshman students.
